These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website liveadposting.com (the “Site”) and the Craigslist posting services (“Services”) provided by LiveAdPosting (“LiveAdPosting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Services
LiveAdPosting provides professional Craigslist posting services to businesses located in the United States, including but not limited to:
- Manual Craigslist ad posting by trained human posters
- Custom Craigslist ad copywriting per industry and target city
- Strategic Craigslist category and sub-category selection
- Daily reporting with live ad URLs
- Ghosting and flagging monitoring with free reposts
- Campaign optimization and strategy
Specific scope, pricing, and deliverables for any engagement are defined in a separate written agreement or invoice between LiveAdPosting and the client.
2. Eligibility
Our Services are offered exclusively to businesses, not to individual consumers. By engaging our Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have the authority to bind your business to these Terms
- Your business is legally registered and operating in compliance with applicable laws
- You will use our Services only for lawful business purposes
- You will not use our Services to advertise prohibited products or services under Craigslist’s Terms of Use or applicable law
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Pricing Model
LiveAdPosting uses volume-based pricing, as published on our pricing page:
- Starter Tier (2-10 ads per day): $1.00 per ad
- Growth Tier (11-20 ads per day): $0.75 per ad
- Scale Tier (20+ ads per day): $0.50 per ad
Pricing is published transparently. All prices are in US Dollars (USD).
3.2 Craigslist Platform Fees
Craigslist charges its own platform fees for certain ad categories, specifically For Sale by Dealer ($5 per ad) and Jobs section ($7 to $75 per ad depending on city). These Craigslist fees are passed through to the client at cost with zero markup. The client is responsible for paying these Craigslist platform fees in addition to our service fees.
3.3 Payment Terms
Most clients fund a monthly Craigslist posting budget in advance. We draw down against the budget as ads are posted. When the budget is depleted, the client may top up or pause the campaign. Scale tier accounts spending over $1,000 per month may qualify for net-15 invoice terms upon credit approval.
3.4 Payment Methods
We accept payment by major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), ACH bank transfers, wire transfers, and PayPal. Credit card payments are processed at our quoted rate (no surcharge added to the published price). ACH bank transfers may take 3-5 business days to clear before Services resume after a payment.
3.5 Late Payment
Invoices not paid within 7 days of their due date may result in suspension of Services. Suspended Services are reinstated upon payment of overdue invoices. Repeated late payment may result in termination of the engagement.
4. Service Delivery and Guarantees
4.1 100% Live Ads Guarantee
LiveAdPosting offers a 100% Live Ads Guarantee. If any Craigslist ad posted by us is ghosted, flagged, or removed during the campaign period, we will repost the ad at no additional charge until it stays live. This guarantee converts every paid ad into a live ad. The guarantee covers ad live status only and does not guarantee specific lead volume or quality (see Section 7).
4.2 Daily Reporting
Active clients receive daily email reports listing every Craigslist ad posted that business day, with direct clickable URLs for verification.
4.3 Service Hours
Our posting team operates Monday through Friday during US business hours. Ads are typically posted between 6 AM and 8 PM Pacific Time. Weekend posting may be available for Scale tier clients.
5. Term and Termination
5.1 Month-to-Month Engagement
Our Craigslist posting service engagements are month-to-month with no minimum term. Either party may terminate the engagement with 24 hours’ written notice by email or phone. There are no cancellation fees, penalties, or termination charges.
5.2 Pause and Resume
Clients may pause their campaign at any time with 24 hours’ notice. Any unspent prepaid budget rolls forward to when the campaign is resumed.
5.3 Termination for Cause
Either party may terminate immediately if the other materially breaches these Terms and fails to cure within 14 days of written notice.
6. Client Responsibilities
To deliver effective Services, we require the client to:
- Provide accurate business information, including services offered, service area, and pricing
- Provide accurate and lawful content for use in Craigslist ads
- Respond to reasonable requests for information and approvals in a timely manner
- Use Services only for lawful business activities
- Comply with Craigslist’s Terms of Use as they apply to the advertiser
- Not request that we post ads for prohibited goods or services
7. No Guarantee of Lead Results
Our 100% Live Ads Guarantee covers ad live status. We do not guarantee specific lead volume, lead quality, conversion rates, sales, or revenue from Craigslist posting campaigns. Marketing outcomes depend on many variables outside our control, including but not limited to: the quality of the client’s offer, market conditions, competition, the client’s industry, seasonality, the client’s ability to respond to inquiries promptly, and Craigslist platform changes.
Industry-stated marketing metrics (cost per lead, conversion rates, etc.) referenced on our website are based on historical client data and industry averages. Actual results vary by client and campaign. We make no specific revenue or lead-count promises.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Client Materials
The client retains all rights to their business name, logos, content, photos, customer data, and other materials they provide to LiveAdPosting. We use these materials solely to provide the Services.
8.2 Ad Copy and Creative Work
Custom Craigslist ad copy we create specifically for a client becomes the property of the client upon payment of the related invoices. The client may use this ad copy freely after the engagement ends.
8.3 LiveAdPosting Methods
Our internal processes, frameworks, posting infrastructure, account management systems, templates, and methodologies remain our intellectual property. Engaging our Services does not grant the client ownership of our underlying business methods or infrastructure.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of non-public business information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives termination of the engagement. Standard exclusions apply (information that is public, was already known, or is required to be disclosed by law).
10. Refunds
Our refund policy is governed by our Refund Policy. In summary: we do not offer cash refunds; instead, every paid ad is covered by our 100% Live Ads Guarantee. Any ghosted, flagged, or removed ad is reposted at no additional cost until it stays live. Unspent prepaid budget may be rolled forward to future months or, upon cancellation, refunded for any portion not yet allocated to posted ads.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiveAdPosting’s aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms or the Services is limited to the total fees paid by the client to LiveAdPosting in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. LiveAdPosting is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, or business interruption.
12. Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify and hold LiveAdPosting harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from: (a) the client’s business activities, products, or services; (b) the client’s violation of these Terms; or (c) the client’s violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws, including but not limited to claims arising from the content the client requests be posted on Craigslist.
13. Relationship with Craigslist
LiveAdPosting is an independent Craigslist posting service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by craigslist.org or Craigslist, Inc. Craigslist is a registered trademark of Craigslist, Inc. We provide a service of posting ads on behalf of our clients in accordance with Craigslist’s published rules and terms of use.
14. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms due to causes beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: Craigslist platform outages or policy changes, natural disasters, government actions, internet or infrastructure failures, pandemics, or civil disturbances. The affected party will notify the other party promptly and resume performance as soon as reasonably possible. If a force majeure event continues for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the engagement without penalty, with refund of any prepaid fees for periods not yet served.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in the United States under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property or confidentiality violations.
Class Action Waiver: Both parties agree that any dispute will proceed solely on an individual basis, and waive any right to bring or participate in any claim as a representative or member of a class or in any consolidated, representative, or class action against the other party. The arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of multiple parties.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use of Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any written engagement agreement, statement of work, or invoice, constitute the entire agreement between the client and LiveAdPosting regarding the Services. They supersede all prior discussions, proposals, and agreements.
