This Refund Policy explains how LiveAdPosting (“LiveAdPosting,” “we,” “us”) handles refunds and budget adjustments for our Craigslist posting services. We’ve written this in plain language so there are no surprises.
1. Summary
LiveAdPosting does not offer cash refunds. Instead, every paid Craigslist ad is covered by our 100% Live Ads Guarantee. Any ghosted, flagged, or removed ad is reposted at no additional cost until it stays live. This means every dollar you pay converts to a live Craigslist ad.
1.1 Our Commitment
We aim to be fair and reasonable. Our policy errs toward delivering live ads rather than processing cash refunds. If you have a concern that doesn’t fit neatly into the categories below, contact us at support@liveadposting.com, we’d rather resolve it directly than have you dispute it elsewhere.
2. 100% Live Ads Guarantee
This is the foundation of how we handle service issues:
2.1 What the Guarantee Covers
Every paid ad in our Craigslist posting service is covered from the moment it is posted until the natural expiration of that ad (typically 7 to 45 days depending on Craigslist category). If at any point during that coverage window the ad gets:
- Ghosted (posted but invisible to the public)
- Flagged by community or removed by Craigslist’s algorithm
- Made invisible through any platform action
We will repost the ad at no additional charge. Reposting continues until the replacement ad stays live. There is no limit on the number of reposts per original paid ad.
2.2 What the Guarantee Does Not Cover
The guarantee covers ad live status only. It does not cover:
- Lead volume from your campaign
- Lead quality or conversion rates
- Revenue generated from Craigslist inquiries
- Ads removed because of Terms of Service violations by the advertiser (e.g., prohibited products, misleading claims supplied by the client)
We cannot guarantee specific lead outcomes because lead quality depends on factors outside our control: your offer, your industry’s seasonal demand, your pricing position, your ability to respond to inquiries within 1 to 24 hours, and other operational factors of your business.
3. Unspent Budget
3.1 Rollover
If you fund a monthly Craigslist posting budget in advance and don’t use it all by month’s end, the unspent budget rolls forward to the following month automatically. There is no “use it or lose it” structure. You can also pause your campaign at any time, and any unspent prepaid budget waits for you when you resume.
3.2 Refund of Unspent Budget on Cancellation
If you cancel your engagement and have prepaid funds that have not yet been allocated to posted Craigslist ads, you may request a refund of the unallocated portion. To request: email support@liveadposting.com with your cancellation request. Refunds of unallocated budget are processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method.
Note: budget allocated to ads already posted, or to ads scheduled to post within 24 hours of your cancellation request, is not refundable as the work has already been performed.
4. First-Month Cancellation
If you are a new client and find that our Craigslist posting service is not the right fit within the first 7 days of your campaign launch, contact us. We will:
- Stop further postings immediately upon your written request
- Refund any prepaid budget that has not yet been allocated to live ads
- Provide you with the live URLs of any ads already posted (you keep these)
This is not a satisfaction guarantee, it’s an acknowledgment that sometimes a service isn’t the right fit and we don’t want to hold your money in that case.
5. Craigslist Platform Fees
Craigslist charges its own platform fees for the For Sale by Dealer section ($5 per ad) and the Jobs section ($7 to $75 per ad depending on city). These fees are paid directly to Craigslist and passed through to you at cost.
Once Craigslist has accepted payment of its platform fees and the ad has been submitted, those Craigslist fees are non-refundable from our side because we have already passed the money to Craigslist. If Craigslist ghosts or flags an ad in these sections, we will repost it under our 100% Live Ads Guarantee, but the additional Craigslist platform fee for the repost will be charged again (since Craigslist charges per submission, not per live ad).
6. Service Failure
If LiveAdPosting fails to deliver the Services described in your engagement agreement during a billing month (for example, no ads posted, no daily reports delivered, no communication), you may request a prorated refund for the affected period. Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the affected period.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or budget adjustment, email support@liveadposting.com with:
- The name of your business and the campaign
- The reason for the refund request
- The amount you believe should be refunded
- Any relevant supporting information
We will respond within 3 business days with our decision. If approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, contact us at support@liveadposting.com before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your card issuer or bank. We will work in good faith to resolve any legitimate billing issue within 5 business days.
Initiating a chargeback without first attempting resolution may result in:
- Immediate suspension of Services pending resolution
- Recovery of associated chargeback fees from you (typically $15 to $25 per chargeback, as charged by our payment processor)
- Inability to engage LiveAdPosting for Services in the future
This clause does not apply to chargebacks for fraud, genuinely unauthorized transactions, or Services that were paid for but verifiably not delivered after a documented good-faith request for resolution.
9. Disputes
If we cannot agree on a refund matter through direct communication, the dispute resolution procedure in our Terms of Service applies (binding arbitration in the United States).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email. Continued use of Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
